Oh and both Kanye West and Carlos Mencia complement this great episode, the first one don't getting Cartman's joke (yes in the end is his joke!) and the unfunny comedian, who has no d***, being f***** by Kanye West! Best of Season 13 so far. During the episode we see Cartman's mental images of him writing the joke (and fighting Jew robots and being told by people that he is not fat at all!), certainly "Fishsticks" is another brilliantly hilarious Cartman episode. Jimmy will end saying "thanks" to Cartman since Cartman, who was p*ssed off with Jimmy since he said that he wrote the joke by himself, now understands that Jimmy's ego made him believe things happened differently, that Jimmy created mental images to make him part of things. Cartman, certainly, steals the show and at the end we can only say "well poor Jimmy, he was very unlucky when Cartman decided to spend some time with him". In the same scene Kyle (who else?) is like "Jimmy if Cartman doesn't deserves the credit just don't give it to him", so why there's something between Jimmy and Cartman? Well because Cartman did something that provoked he could not hang out with Stan and Kyle so he went to Jimmy's place, spend the time resting in the couch and eating stuff and helped Jimmy to write a joke, well not really but he was certainly part of the moment when a now classic joke was created, a joke that now even TV hosts uses, great joke, Cartman was there when Jimmy wrote it and certainly now he says he helped Jimmy but not only that. Certainly Craig knows what Cartman can do, what may happen to you if you mess with Cartman (I'm remembering Scott Tenorman!) and we know Jimmy should listen to Craig if he doesn't want real problems. in fact I didn't even know Carlos Mencia was a real person! For me though the real highlight was the way Cartman's idea of what happened kept changing in his psychotic little mind he really did come up with the joke!Īfter not being entirely satisfied with the South Park episode from last week I had a much better time with today's episode "Fishsticks" it is basically a Cartman episode, showing more of the Cartman we all know and is pretty damn funny since at one point Craig will say to the boy that this time is involved with Cartman in some thing (Jimmy is that boy) something like "well you're lucky, Cartman is only asking for the half, just give him the half". The subplot involving him and later Carlos Mencia was pretty funny even though I was not familiar with either of them when I first saw the episode. This episode was pretty funny the central 'fish-stick' joke was genuinely amusing and became even funnier when Kanye West didn't get it. Meanwhile back in South Park each time Cartman retells the story of how the joke came to be written his role gets bigger until Jimmy just happened to be there when Cartman created it then tried to steal it. He just doesn't get it and the more he doesn't get it the more people ask him if he likes fish-sticks! Eventually he thinks he has found the person who started the joke a comedian called Carlos Mencia who claimed to have created it himself. Everybody laughs because they get the joke that is everybody apart from rapper and self-proclaimed genius Kanye West. And what is this joke you may ask the gist of it is that if somebody likes fish-sticks (sounds like fish-dicks) they must be a gay fish. apart from Jimmy and Cartman and the latter seems to think is role was greater than it actually was. Cartman can't wait to try it out at school and soon the joke is spreading like wildfire eventually comedians on television are using it but nobody knows who originated it. Eventually Jimmy comes up with a joke that makes him laugh. When Cartman goes over to Jimmy's house he agrees to help him come up with some new jokes this consists of him lying on the couch stuffing his face saying 'Nah' each time Jimmy suggests something.
